On 29 Sept. 2025, justASK! participated in a workshop on the safety of Danish coastal dikes which was held at Deltares in Delft, The Netherlands. Within the underlying project (see here), partners from the Danish Coastal Authority, Deltares, and justASK! came together to discuss the ongoing works and future steps.
The work is progressing in two pilot sites on the East and West side of Denmark where failures of sea defences had been observed in the past. These failure have been used to calibrate the developed tools which will be used to predict future risks of flooding in real-time during storm surges in Denmark.
